Data Scientist

Launch Catalysts is looking for a data scientist who can turn messy growth, marketing, product, CRM, and analytics data into useful models, experiments, dashboards, and decisions.

What you will do

  • Analyze funnels, campaigns, conversion paths, CRM data, and customer behavior to find growth constraints.
  • Build forecasting, segmentation, scoring, attribution, experimentation, and recommendation models where they create practical value.
  • Turn analysis into dashboards, decision notes, and clear recommendations that non-technical teams can use.
  • Work with tracking, engineering, AI, and marketing teams to improve data quality and measurement design.

What we are looking for

  • Strong Python, SQL, statistics, experimentation, and data storytelling skills.
  • Experience with GA4, product analytics, CRM data, marketing data, or warehouse-style datasets.
  • Comfort moving between notebooks, dashboards, business questions, and production-minded workflows.
  • Good written communication and the judgment to explain tradeoffs without hiding behind complexity.

Nice to have

  • Experience with LLM workflows, retrieval systems, or AI evaluation.
  • Exposure to server-side tracking, GTM, BigQuery, dbt, Looker Studio, Metabase, or similar tools.
  • Agency, startup, SaaS, ecommerce, or performance marketing experience.
  • A portfolio showing analysis that changed a decision, not just charts that looked good.
